Silicon Carbide

The premium, virgin grain Silicon Carbide Powder that Greenhill stocks and distributes is available in two colors; black and green. The Black Silicon Carbide powder is a semi-friable, medium density abrasive that is primarily used for gear lapping, flat lapping of metals and ceramics, as well as blasting, glass grinding and granite polishing. The high-purity, semi-friable, virgin Green Silicon Carbide has a special surface chemical treatment to ensure low levels of surface impurities. This premium Green Silicon Carbide is primarily used for pressure blasting, lapping, grinding and polishing where a higher purity Silicon Carbide abrasive is desired. Please review the following grades and specifications and please contact Greenhill Supply for pricing and availability.
