Silicon carbide is a black, semi-friable, medium density, virgin silicon carbide abrasive. This product is widely used for gear lapping, flat lapping of metals and ceramics, glass grinding and granite polishing.

Sodium Bicarbonate

Contam-AwayÔ sodium bicarbonate blasting media is a non-hazardous, food-grade abrasive grain that is an excellent for many commercial cleaning and coating-removal applications. This sodium bicarbonate blast media is best used in conjunction with a wet-blast adapter on a sensitive surface and where a biodegradable abrasive must be used.
