Aluminum Oxide

Aluminum oxide is designed for the pressure blasting of materials of almost every type, including glass, granite, marble and ceramic. It is also used for the preparation of surfaces prior to painting or bonding; as well as for light deburring, scale removal, and the generation of matte finishes. This aluminum oxide is closely sized, enabling operators to consistently duplicate finishes. This premium aluminum oxide can be used over and over again with the proper blasting equipment and a good abrasive cleaning reclaimer and dust collector.

Corn Cobs

Corn cobs are an organic abrasive media which are normally used when the application requires minimal or no surface profile or etching. Corn cobs are used in a tumbling operation to help polish the parts and can also be mixed with another non-organic media such as garnet to provide a polishing element as well as surface contaminant removal. Corn cobs are also spongy and are used to contain and soak-up spills in machine shops, factories and even water-ways.

Corn Cobs are normally packaged in 50 Lb. Bags and are available in the following sizes:
10/14, 14/20, 20/40.
